Our Consumer & Community Banking Group depends on innovators like you to serve nearly 66 million consumers and over 4 million small businesses, municipalities and non-profits. As an Application Development Manager you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You'll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating ETL solutions. You'll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what's being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as agile frameworks-is key. You are expected to demonstrate deep knowledge in the data domain, data integration and data management tools. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
* Current strong hands-on experience in Java
* Experience with Spring/Spring Boot, REST Based Micro Services and APIs
* Experience in AWS, Spark, Kafka, Kubernetes is a plus
* Desired experience 2+ years of experience in a Data Lake environment (Hadoop, RDBMS, S3)
* We use Agile software development and embrace modern engineering practices
* Knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
* Proven ability to define technical solutions, and ultimately lead high quality implementations
* Experience with issue resolution processes for application production problems
* Demonstrated ability prioritizing and managing development and implementation of product upgrades
* Proven ability overseeing installations and Release Management including the final production acceptance review and signoff
* College degree or specialized training / equivalent work experience
