Who should apply?  

• Someone with at least 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer & proven experience of 2+ years as a QA Automation Engineer with a focus on web-based products 
• Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar. 
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, JavaScript, or others commonly used in automation testing. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

TECHNICAL SKILLS 

• Test Execution: Perform automation and manual testing activities, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure software meets specified requirements. 
• Test Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data to provide clear instructions for testing activities. 
• Risk Analysis: Assess risks associated with software releases and prioritize test cases based on critical functionalities and potential business impacts. 
• Cross-Browser and Cross-Platform Testing: Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure consistent behavior and functionality across different browsers, devices, and operating systems. 
• Automated Test Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using various automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, etc) to validate web applications' functionality, usability, and performance. 
• (Optional) Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD): Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure frequent and reliable deployments of web-based products. 
• Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze test results, and provide regular reports on test coverage, defect trends, and quality metrics to stakeholders. 
• (Optional) Performance and Load Testing: Plan and execute performance and load testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar. 
• (Optional) Security Testing: Perform security testing, including but not limited to authentication, authorization, input validation, session management, error handling, and sensitive data handling, to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities.

What it’s like to work here 

• You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of our web applications through comprehensive manual testing processes 
• Be part of our panel for technical interviews. 
• You will be planning your sprint tasks by: 
• Collaborating with Product Managers to understand the requirement and scope of work  
• Collaborating with UI-UX designers to understand the user flows and the UI screen if applicable 
• Creating a test plan, test cases & scripts  
• Certifying the modules developed by collaborating with the developer  
• Analysing risks and affected modules and running basic tests for critical modules to sign off on the module release to production 
• Being comfortable with admitting, analysing, and learning from failures is key when working with us. 
• Mentor and provide advice to more junior engineers, guiding them in making sound test plans, improving their delivery quality, and helping them out of their comfort zone.
