Looking for a challenging and exciting opportunity in the field of DevOps? Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of our client's DevOps infrastructure. You will work collaboratively with software engineers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of software solutions
Requirement:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, learn quickly and be proactive
- 7-9 years overall and at least 3-4 years of hands-on experience in designing and managing DevOps Cloud infrastructure
- Experience must include a combination of:
- Experience working with configuration management tools – Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack (expertise in at least one tool is a must)
- Ability to write and maintain code in at least one scripting language(Python preferred)
- Practical knowledge of shell scripting
- Cloud knowledge – AWS, VMware vSphere
- Good understanding and familiarity with Linux
- Networking knowledge – Firewalls, VPNs, Load Balancers
- Web/Application servers, Nginx, JVM environments
- Virtualization and containers - Xen, KVM, Qemu, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
- Familiarity with logging systems - Logstash, Elasticsearch, Kibana
- Git, Jenkins, Jira
