The promised world of Web3 won’t be achieved without digital communities. DAOs are a mystery box, especially when it comes to a new joiner. For a new member to get a sense on how things work at a community, how to start actively contributing or how to build an on-chain reputation based on their contributions it’s vital to handhold and guide them; or risk losing them forever.

Similarly on the DAO Admin end, a lot of data sits in silos across the stack of tools they use with no way to identify the right contributors. Neither is there a way to enable new contributors to taste how DAOs actually work.

We at DaoLens are fixing all this, one step at a time :)

⌛️ Where will you spend your time?

• Will own the quality of a feature, component, or product. Will write, execute, and fix test cases, test scripts as per specifications and interact with Developers/QA lead to a report, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
• Will need to critically analyse features and their impact areas and provide educated estimation for testing the same
• Will need to understand the production environment and analyse data and server logs.
• Principle responsibility will be enhancing automation platforms and test cases to ensure the quality of our services and products
• Develop and maintain automation to apply and collect all tests against target releases with minimal human intervention
• Develop software code and automated tests that are maintainable and reusable
• Develop test automation framework using one or more frameworks
• Develop test automation scripts.
• Good knowledge of GIT
• Generate API Level Automated Test Scripts using various technologies and tools
• Triage bugs submitted from users and other teammates, verifying issues and gathering additional details (via JIRA and applicable tools)
• Document, track, and escalate issues as appropriate ability to build effective relationships through partnering and collaboration

🙋What makes you a good fit?

• An understanding of requirements analysis, design, coding, and testing of scalable, distributed, fault-tolerant applications
• Familiar with agile or other rapid application development
• Expertise in building Test Automation Frameworks using API / Webservices Automation 
• Expert in Continuous integration process implementation by building CI / CD Pipeline using Jenkins and Integrate with Mavens
• Strong expertise in coding and programming skills.
• Experience building Tools, Utilities & Automation Test Frameworks
• Solid understanding of software design principles for Building Test Frameworks
• Think out of the box coming up with creative test design automation frameworks to build utilities plus tools to develop
• Good in writing SQL and NoSQL queries
• Building, customising, deploying, and managing the environment/ test automation frameworks
• Experience in Cloud-based applications deployment as all our applications are deployed in the cloud (either AWS or GCP)
• Able to understand and manage the performance engineering team

Not necessarily. At the end of the day, human beings are the same. Web3 is a new way of doing things with brilliantly put socio-economic angles. At DAOLens, as long as you are curious and intrinsically driven to learn stuff, you should be good.

 

We are operating out of Central Indiranagar, Bangalore. Do you have to come to the office everyday? No. It’s entirely on you. But when we sit together on a table, we move mountains. So you will be required to show up time and again. That said, we respect your preferences and would be happy to chat.

 

We spoke to some 300+ founders building in Web3 before jumping into building DAOLens.

Firstly, we resonate with the hypothesis and the philosophy behind DAOs. DAOs bring a unique social economic graph to communities and in the long run every corporate, every community, every group will get structured into a DAO.

Secondly and most importantly, 75-80% of these random 300 Web3 founders that we spoke to are actively making efforts to structure their organisation as a DAO.
