S-Kaupat is S Group’s new eCom platform for grocery shopping. Our goal is to make people’s lives easier by providing them with a platform where they can get groceries in an easy and convenient manner. This service has been highly appreciated by our customers, especially now during the pandemic time. We want to make the service even better and need you for that!
QA Engineer – S-kaupat, Mobile squad
S-Kaupat Mobile squad is the team of professionals, who build mobile apps (both for iOS and Android) which people use for ordering groceries. We use React Native to build the apps and strive to deliver a wonderful experience by constantly iterating and improving our apps. The APIs are written with GraphQL, and the backend of the solution relies on TypeScript, AWS Lambdas, DynamoDB and event-driven architecture.
As the QA Engineer of the Mobile squad, you understand what quality means in this context. Your goal is to build the Quality related capabilities to optimize the value perceived by the end customer when using our apps for doing grocery shopping. The technical development done by this team has innovation at heart, so you help in building quality-in while prototyping and trying out ideas. You define and implement the testing capabilities in this domain and together with the developers create the testing harness and build the telemetry and observability that helps you measure quality in the apps the team builds.
What we hope from you
A few years of experience of mobile testing
A technical educational and professional background
Understanding in test automation, continuous testing in DevOps and software observability
A habit for active communication and collaboration with all kinds of people
Eagerness and willingness to develop yourself and your skills even more in the above-mentioned areas
In work-related matters you communicate fluently in English
We also value previous knowledge of React Native and Detox testing framework, but those are not requirements as long as you have enthusiasm to learn new technologies.
