About the Role We are looking for a Director of Product Management to join our StreamNative team. You will help shape the future on key areas of the product suite evolution. You will partner with teams across the company to identify new areas of opportunity for us to explore. As the company grows, you will help to foster teams eager to continuously build, measure, and learn.

What You’ll Be Doing -You own the product area for both StreamNative’s open-source and cloud initiatives, translating long-term vision into a roadmap with a focus on the results and revenue. -You will build and lead a team of top-notch Product Managers who translate the strategy into well defined and validated roadmap items that drive toward the company's goals. -You believe in and can articulate succinctly, our customers and their pain points. You empathize and understand the world they live in and the constraints they work through. -You will engage deeply with engineers to help build a customer-centric approach to find amazing solutions that solve today's problems while optimizing for tomorrow's vision. -You enjoy building products that are easy to adopt and use. You have a keen design sensibility, and you are always looking for ways to improve the usability of your products. -You are comfortable with ambiguity and will guide product definition, feature prioritization, and scope, in concert with cross functional teams. -You’re a fan of iterative development, working with our customers as well as cross-functional teams to hypothesize, measure impact, and learn from previous releases to iterate on future roadmap plans.

About You  -8+ years of product management experience -3+ years building, managing and coaching a team of product managers or engineers -You have experience developing cloud infrastructure products and have a strong understanding of distributed systems  -Demonstrated leadership of B2B/SaaS software and product management teams -Experience collaborating with and understanding the needs of stakeholders from a variety of business functions -Solid understanding of open source technologies with technical knowledge to be credible with engineers and stakeholders. -Excellent organization, prioritization, and written and verbal communication skills. -Experience working in an early-stage startup preferred
