We are seeking a Director of Demand Generation to lead global demand generation for Contacto, one of Plivo’s new SaaS solutions. Contacto is an omnichannel contact center for B2C customer service teams that utilizes Plivo’s cloud communication platform. Because Contacto is a new product in the customer service industry, this role provides the opportunity to build and grow a new brand within an existing company.

The ideal candidate for this role is both a creative and a metrics-driven leader with a strong track record of driving leads and revenue for SaaS companies. This person will be responsible for strategy and execution in driving inbound leads, including demand generation through organic and paid search campaigns and optimizing the conversion of leads on Contacto’s website. This person is up to date with the latest developments in advertising platforms including Google Ads and Linkedin Ads and can clearly communicate algorithm and feature updates and their impact on advertisers. Experience in an early stage startup environment is important.

This role will lead and supervise the performance marketing member(s) and have the opportunity to grow into leadership of other members of the go-to-market team.

This role reports to the leader of the go-to-market team for Contacto, and is a great opportunity for candidates who want to work in an early stage, fast-paced, high-growth, collaborative environment and make a big impact. This position will be remote, working from home anywhere across India.

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Lead and own demand generation strategy, execution, team for Contacto
  • Implement, analyze, and optimize progressive marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition. Responsible for driving customer acquisition via PPC, SEO, Display, Paid Social, Lead Generation, and other demand-related channels.
  • Determine the appropriate mix of marketing channels and programs that will convert target accounts into customers.
  • Improve operational process and reporting related to demand generation programs to measure effectiveness, performance, and ROI of marketing spend
  • Own and measure demand generation programs against key metrics, including: qualified leads, opportunities and new business pipeline.
  • Empower business leaders with data, identify successful strategies and new opportunities, and propose improvements to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Effectively communicate across the go-to-market team and broader organization, sharing campaign updates, timelines, processes, and results.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the Contacto platform, CCaaS market, competitors, audiences, and Contacto’s value propositions.

Experience Required :

  • A minimum of 9-12 years experience leading a team to execute high-volume digital and demand generation programs with B2B SaaS organizations.
  • A minimum of 5 years leading and managing demand gen teams.
  • Consistent record of generating and growing qualified leads that convert into new business pipeline.
  • Extensive background in Google Ads, LinkedIn, display, retargeting, and other ad platforms.
  • Expertise in SEO and landing page conversion optimization.
  • Deep understanding of demand generation best practices and how to engage prospects at multiple points through the customer journey with a test-and-learn mindset.
  • Experience in an early stage startup environment is very important.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; easily able to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills with proven ability to work across functions to achieve and scale results.
  • Budget management experience required. Bachelor's degree required.
