Our machine learning team leverages data from our platform or directly from client’s systems to develop and implement cutting edge machine learning models in areas like computer vision, NLP, credit risk, fraud risk and customer experience management.

Job Description

We are looking for a data scientist to bolster the strength and intellectual prowess of the team. As a data scientist you are expected to contribute across the entire cycle of model development and implementation including problem understanding, solution conceptualization, data source identification, data exploration, data quality analysis, model development and model implementation. You are expected to use your engineering and data science skills to solve problems in areas of credit risk, fraud risk and customer experience management (churn, cross-sell, offer optimization, campaign optimization, customer lifetime value etc.). Many of the above problems also involve leveraging unstructured data like text, image, and video. You are expected to leverage NLP, image analytics and video analytics techniques to address such problems.

We are also firm believers in adopting a full-stack (or near full-stack) approach, which will enable you to develop expertise in areas like model deployment, creating scalable data pipelines and understanding technology architecture.

Responsibilities

• Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
• Selecting features, building, and optimizing classifiers
• Identifying data repositories and model repositories for transfer learning
• Model performance analysis
• Performing ad-hoc analysis and exploratory data analysis
• Implement analytical models into production
• Create a culture of mutual knowledge sharing

Skills and Qualifications

• Years of experience: 2-6 years

• Experience in Data Processing, Data Analysis and Machine Learning

• Excellent knowledge on R/Python
• Sound knowledge of common machine learning algorithms
• Excellent knowledge of SQL is a must
• Hand-on experience on selecting features, building, and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques
• Background in Data Mining and Statistical Analysis
• Able to understand various data structures and common methods in data transformation
