The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic UI developer, with solid experience in Angular and/or React and a desire to create clean, maintainable code. The candidate will be expected to engage with the business throughout the cycle, owning the process end-to-end and turning their requirements into an efficient, well tested solution. Experience of writing unit and integration tests is important. Agile development methodologies are employed, and employees are empowered and given time to learn and to innovate.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
* Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
* Solid, hands-on, experience of UI frameworks (Angular version 2+ and/or React)
* Technology Enthusiast with Agile experience and a desire to create clean code and maintainable software.
* Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
* Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
* Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
* Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
* Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
* Passionate about building an innovative culture
* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
* Participate in the development function for the Chase Loyalty Solutions Platform that includes multiple internal facing web applications, middleware services supporting external facing mobile/web applications, batch programs and databases.
* Lead technical designs and be part of a team of geographically distributed analysts and developers responsible for the program's software solutions engineering function.
* Develop productive working relationships with business, technology, infrastructure, architecture and enterprise technology teams that participate in the SDLC and ensure coverage of all aspects of application development and delivery.
* Work will include all aspects of software engineering lifecycle concentrated with web development using Java/Java Scripts/Spring/Micro Services/Cloud/Data Streaming/NoSQL Database solutions platform and databases.
* Produce comprehensive test cases for all developed code. Must also support and participate in system and integrated testing across sub-systems as the need arises.
* Interpret functional specifications, create technical specifications and have the ability to deliver quality code to specification.

Additional skills that are preferred:
* A desire to work directly with the users, prioritizing business value.
* Cloud experience
* Understanding of REST API's and be able to design and support them.
* Experience of automated testing of UI in a micro-service environment.
* Experience in banking domain
* Understanding of UI Design including CSS, HTML, Typescript
