.We are looking for an animator/graphics designer who is self-motivated and helps Yapsody by providing a creative approach in interacting with their audiences.
Roles and Responsibilities
ANIMATE: Take Yapsody into the modern age of digital learning and engagement by transforming static content into storyboards and cartoon animations.
FUN: Transform flat technical content into engaging multimedia presentations that enable users to relate the message to their inner child.
INTEGRATION: Cause written content to come to life with graphically captivating visuals that capture the purpose, energy and essence of the writer’s intent.
CONSISTENCY: Develop, optimize and oversee the integration of recognizable, common, cross-platform visual media elements and characters throughout Yapsody's visual media channels.
DESIGN: Inspire pixel-perfect, responsive visual layouts for desktop and mobile platforms that convey complex technical information to users in a visually compelling, engaging, fun and simplistic manner using familiar styles and characters, which make the user feel that the product speaks to him or her.
COLLABORATION: Work with the Web Development Team, Marketing Department, and Support Departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all UI/UX requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Strong work portfolio exhibiting attention to detail and ability to demonstrate the decision process and rationale behind each design element
- Proven excellence in all relevant aspects of UI, including typography, color balance, use of graphic design elements, information hierarchy, etc
- Ability to commit to creating fun, engaging and informative graphical media releases on regular intervals in connection with the priorities of the Marketing Department
- Proven ability to work with minimal supervision by relying on experience and judgment to plan and achieve goals
- Basic understanding of the development practicalities and limitations of front-end technologies that are used for implementing designs
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and manage others
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills with the ability to be persuasive and sell your ideas
Technical Skill Requirement
• Sketch Cloud - Symbols, Prototyping, Publishing Assets or similar
• Illustrations designing - Adobe illustrator
• Understanding of technology stack of web application
• Understanding of Apple HIG for iOS
• Understanding of Material UI for Android
• Understanding of Bootstrap design guidelines
