This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
* Experienced/Senior engineer with development life cycle experience in systems and applications management including systems/application design
* Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages such as C# & .NET, Java, or Python
* Current experience building and deploying web-based UI/API applications on modern web technology stacks, example:
+ Angular/React/Vue, JQuery, ASP.NET MVC Core, Spring Boot/Cloud Services
* Hands-On experience creating HTTPS/Restful Web Services, MQ Messaging (Apache Kafka knowledge is preferred)
* Experience developing SQL queries and creating stored procedures
* Strong working knowledge of database concepts and SQL Server (or related tools)
* Experience with unit testing tools Junit, NUnit and automated testing tools (Cucumber, selenium, JMeter)
* Working experience with application servers such as IIS and Tomcat
* Experience with batch scheduling tools like Control-M and ETL tools like SSIS/ Airflow will be preferred
* Knowledge on using public and private clouds such as AWS, Azure and Cloud Foundry is preferred
* DevOps experience with tools (Jenkins, Maven, GIT or BitBucket, etc.)

Nice to have:
* Prior experience in financial/banking institutions is a plus
* Experience/Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Spring Batch, and Spring Web Services
