Software Engineer

As a member of our Software Engineering Group we look for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation & engineering practices. You will be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
* A bachelor's degree
* 5+yrs of experience in enterprise web application development
* Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
* Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
* Working proficiency in developmental toolsets like
* Excellent debugging and trouble shooting skills
* Knowledge of industry wide technology strategies and best practices
* Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages like Java, C#, Python and Scripting languages
* Proficiency in one or more databases like Oracle, MySql or MsSql
* Worked in version control systems like GIT, SubVersion
* Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement

Responsibilities:
* Primary responsibility for the team's continuous delivery strategy to cloud and non-cloud platforms
* Design, code, test, and deliver software to automate manual operational work
* Troubleshoot priority incidents, and ensure permanent closure of incidents
* Engage with development team throughout the lifecycle to help develop software for reliability and scale, ensuring minimal refactoring or changes
* Participate in support coverage as needed
