Python Developer - Associate

Our organization relies on its central engineering workforce to develop and maintain a product portfolio of several different startups. Our product portfolio continuously grows as we incubate more startups, which means that various products will likely use other technologies, architecture, & frameworks - a fun place for smart tech lovers!

We are looking for a Django Developer to join one of our engineering teams at our office in Hyderabad or Work Remotely.

What would you do?

• Building products is all about solving hard problems. It requires creativity and out of box thinking.
• We believe in freedom and ownership. So expect a large and important portion of the product to be gradually under your responsibility.
• Develop APIs and scripts to integrate with databases like SQL or/and NoSQL DB
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance.
• Reach out to the open-source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes—Python/Django moves fast and often breaks things.
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.

Experience?

6 months to 2 of hands-on development experience in Django. Experience building a Product, preferably SAAS.

Technical Skillset?

• Firm grasp of Python and its nuances
• Hands-on experience with Django
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming. We take SOLID principles very seriously
• Experience using automated testing suites
• Experience with CICD services and other DevOps processes
• Experience with logging frameworks like Sentry or Loggly or ELK stack
• Good hold of DB skills - a combination of SQL and no-SQL experience is good.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure.

Functional Skillset?

• Comfortable “working virtually” with teammates and customers around the world - we do a lot of Slack, Zoom, and Google Meet.
• Good proficiency in the English language
• Good attention to detail
• An inclination to get things done based on clear/aggressive goal setting and improving on productivity metrics.
