Our second product - SelectRight is the world's first MarTech, SaaS platform that redefines the way students select the right colleges and the way colleges find and engage with the right students.  The product rests on the three pillars of data science, transparency and ethics. 

We are the world's first platform that integrates 'Selection' with 'Financing'. and brings students, banks and universities in a SaaS environment to make smarter decisions and manage their processes more efficiently.

Brief about the role:

We are productising the entire journey of finding, selection and financing for students in conjunction with how colleges find and select students and banks fund the students at the right cost.

As a product designer at GradRight, you’ll bring an unmatched customer-centricity to your work, with a focus on designing for the long term and large scale for a global student, university and lender ecosystem.

You’ll understand customer journeys and problems, and tie it with institutional knowledge to help us build the best experiences for students and our partners.

Responsibilities:

1. Understand customer journeys, problems, and needs. Document the same in a way that cross-functional teams can understand and use
2. Work with product managers, owners and engineering team to understand problem statements and design products/features that are technically feasible
3. Drive big picture and day-to-day execution of design work across our products, from service design to high-fidelity mockups
4. Establish, track and own success metrics for design and user experience across all our products
5. Help build the design organization in the company and manage/mentor junior designers

Requirements:

1. At least 3 years of product design experience
2. An exceptional design portfolio showcasing both B2C and B2B work
3. Solid understanding and experience in design research methodologies
4. Practical experience in applying various UI/UX design principles
5. Proficient in design software i.e Figma, Invision, Sketch 
6. Experience in understanding user psychology and passion for design thinking
7. Problem-solving aptitude 
8. Have an analytical mind to align with the vision and business acumen 
9. Understanding of modern design standards

Good to have:

1. Experience designing for an international audience
2. Experience in ed-tech or fin-tech domains
