Laravel Developer

As a developer for web applications, you'll be instrumental in creating our next-generation products and modernizing our existing codebase. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, with strong attention to detail, vocally self-critical, and with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, record and maintain cutting-edge web-based PHP applications on portal plus premium service platforms.
• Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team.
• Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications.
• Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools.
• Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API.
• Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from the concept stage to delivery and post-launch support.
• Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues.
• Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
• Coordinate with co-developers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serves as liaison between development staff and project manager.
• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 2 years of experience in software development, with a focus on web applications based on PHP/Laravel & related frameworks
• In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP & JavaScript.
• Professional experience in REST API development
• Experience working on cloud computing platforms
• Experience working with 3rd party libraries and SDKs
• Experience with threading, and performance tuning
• Exposure to UI/UX best practices
• Hands-on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design 
• Software testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, Behat)
• MySQL profiling and query optimization
• Candidates with knowledge of ReactJS, VueJS will be preferred
