New Banking Architecture, Cloud, Microservices, Domain Driven Design, APIs, event driven systems, containerization and data at the edge are the patterns & technologies which are driving the future architecture at JPMC. This role is senior software engineer responsible for actively participating in the account onboarding platform and develop applications using technologies like Microservices architecture with Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, and Oracle Database experience. Provide guidance to development and application teams. Our successful candidate will be technically adept in emerging technologies like possessing a broad combination of skills and experiences, and who does not mind rolling up his/her sleeves to make the team successful. This role requires that the candidate be technically curious with a strong desire to understand how things are built and work. This role also requires a forward-thinking openness to new technologies and approaches while remaining vigilantly focused on technical strength and maximum availability.

Key Responsibilities
* As a lead of the software engineering team, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedure
* Design and Drive strategies around Microservices adoption at enterprise level and act as a subject matter expert on Microservices best practices.
* Understand and baseline Current State of applications and generate Microservices Assessment Report, create DDD based design and implementation approach
* Perform profiling, troubleshooting of microservice based solutions
* Strong Engineering mindset and passionate for development and building an innovative culture
* Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
* Empathize the frictions experienced by engineers and enterprise along with mentoring team.
* Ability to design and own end-to-end solution and highly adaptable to constraints and changes
* Strong influencer and communicator. Ability to influence and partner with large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture

Qualifications:
* BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
* 10+ years in-depth knowledge of OOPS/Core Java and J2EE development
* 5+ years of hands on experience in design using DDD, building Microservices using Java/J2EE, spring, Spring Boot, REST, Spring Cloud, JWT, Oauth 2.0, 12 Factor Apps, and SOLID principles.
* Hands-on experience in developing and deploying Microservice solutions on premise/cloud infrastructure (AWS/Oracle/Google/Any other cloud)
* 5+ years hands on experience in Microservice containerization with Docker, Kubernetes.
* Experience in design and implementing event-based and message-driven distributed systems using Kafka/RabbitMQ
* Experience with Oracle Database or NoSQL Datastores such as Cassandra and MongoDB
* Experience in microservice based solution design using following architecture aspects: Availability, Cloud Traffic Management, Maintainability, Operability, Scalability and Portability
* Exposure in setting up continuous integration platform with Jenkins, Git, Maven/ Gradle.
* Practical expertise in performance tuning and optimization, bottleneck problems analysis
* Active community member and contributor to open source projects is a plus;
* Solid technical expertise and troubleshooting skills
* Knowledge of common web application and mobile frameworks
* Demonstrated expertise in bringing applications to Cloud
