If the digital services used by our customers are the body of S Group’s online business, the centralized Customer Identity and Access management (CIAM) solution is the veins providing the needed information to ensure a smooth customer experience. All of S Groups’ digital services rely on services built by our team. The CIAM solution has more than 2M users, so it is used by a vast amount of consumers across all business sectors in Finland on a daily basis.
About the role
In this role you will be part of a team building centralized Customer Identity and Access management (CIAM) solution for the entire S Group. Your daily work includes coding both backend and frontend, and working with integrations to various systems. As our solution is critical for the whole S Group, it is extra important to keep in mind the 24/7 availability of the deployed service and what is needed to secure that.
The CIAM solution consists of authentication and authorization APIs and engines, UIs built on top of all that, as well as a portal for end-users to manage their user information, consents and loyalty information, and few other supporting services. In our team there are development, design, architecture and product owning professionals working together to create smooth, secure and reliable identity and access management solutions to serve our customers and stakeholders within S Group.
What we hope from you
To thrive and succeed in this role, you most probably have
Strong background in software development
Experience and know-how in TypeScript, JavaScript, React and AWS. We also use Clojure, so we hope you are willing to learn new technologies if you are not yet familiar with our stack
The qualities of a good a team member willing to cooperate with others
In work-related matters you communicate fluently in English, Finnish skills are seen as a plus
