Our client's team is in search of a Front-End Engineer contractor to work with us in delivering high quality improvements to their web app.
Problem Description
The client is a decentralized talent marketplace and protocol.
Their team is currently very lean, composed of 3 contributors across product, operations, and engineering. Since launching earlier this year, they have learned a lot about their users, their needs, and determined new ways they want to improve the product to better their experience..
Therefore, they have a number of product improvements and changes that require front-end engineering work to be done. Their hope is that engaging a front-end engineer will provide the lift necessary to build into a seamless and powerful independent contributor network!
Selection Process:
They will interview all applicants to assess that all of the requirements listed are met!
In your application, please include links to your GitHub profile or portfolio that shows your prior work, and also anything else they should know about why youâd be a good fit for this contract.
Expectations
Our expectations of contractors is that you will work collaboratively with the team, get onboarded into their team communication channels and a few core IT systems, and ultimately be responsible for delivering work at the pace that is needed to keep pace with their overall team goals.
In addition, they expect contractors they work with to be kind, collaborative humans that are excited to work with them, understand that theyâre a fast-moving startup with a lot to do, and are extremely communicative.
Some examples of the types of work you might ship include front-end features for improving our client's profile functionality, improving the grant/project posting flow, admin UI features, and more.
Their product tech stack is currently NextJS, React, Node, and Postgres. Our client expects their front-end engineering candidates to be deeply acquainted with React and NextJS so you can hit the ground running!
