Challenges You Will Solve

You are an experienced IT leader and are driven to deliver impactful work for your customers and partners. You believe in the value of process and structure, and use them to reliably deliver high quality results, but understand there needs to be room for pragmatism. You are able to drive decisions by analyzing tradeoffs and partnering with business and process owners to make the right decision for their constraints and priorities. You are able to reason about the tradeoffs of a potential solution at multiple levels of detail and multiple time scales. You can work through the technical details of a project with a development team, and communicate associated impacts and tradeoffs to business users and leaders.

What You’ll Do

• Build relationships with internal customers and partners to understand their needs, priorities, roadmap, and definition of success
• Drive the technical evaluation of technologies and vendor solutions including industry trends and best practices
• Develop and communicate system and solution documentation intended for both business and technical audiences
• Design user interface strategies to support current and long-term business needs
• Design and develop proof-of-concepts, prototypes, reference architectures, and implementations as needed to support the technical planning of the user interface architecture and business projects
• Provide technical oversight of the user interface architecture improvements and business projects
• Partner with other technical architects, platform leadership, business partners, as well as functional leads in areas such as Security, Privacy, IT Compliance, Business Intelligence, and Data Governance to ensure that Roostify’s platform capabilities are meeting the needs and standards of diverse stakeholders
• Improve and refine existing toolkits to improve Roostify’s usability in the market palace
• Define the mobile strategy for our products

What You’ll Bring

• 10+ years experience in the development and implementation of software or information technology system interfaces
• 6+ years experience with user interface toolkits
• 5+ years experience with React using Redux 
• Experience building mobile solutions that minimize development cost
• Ability to translate strategic business objectives and needs to workable user interface solutions and develop defined work plans to deliver on requirements
• Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience

We have Roostify HQs located in San Francisco, CA, and Austin, TX and we are open to remote work within the USA for this role.
