Front End Developer

We are looking for a problem solver computer programmer who creates the front end of Consumer Services. The front end will implement al the user interface in the responsive websites. The implementation of code into the Tag Manager (for analytics and SAAS solutions) is important.

This role will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail. Documentation is essential for the sustained growth of digital products. 

This role will also coordinate the relationship between the rest of IT development team in order to be aligned with technology, security and technical requirements. Expected to work with departments like Product, IT, Analytics and UX.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: 

• Creates the front end for the Consumer Services web applications, improving existing features of the product and working on new features as we continue to scale. 
• Architect and implement web/mobile UI/UX based on provided wireframes and business requirements. 
• Implement the front end from the current solutions, and connect the new assets into microservices from the backends. 
• Manage the developments and maintenance for APIs, and have good understanding of Soap/ REST web service.
• Excellent understanding in HTML, CSS, Js, understanding the UX requirements. 
• Ensure the right documentation for the future product development. 
• Ensuring code quality and standards while meeting deadlines and delivering targets set by the product team. 

Collaboration & people development 

• Communication skills to participate in the product development cycle. 
• Working closely with product managers and data analysts to improve the overall product, the design team to improve the user experience, and the front-end team for design implementation.

Education/Cretification 

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent. 

Professional Experience

- Minimum Aroundof 4 to 8 years of production application design and development experience.  

- Front-end development experience using programming languages such as VUE or Angular Framework, JavaScript, HTML5, XML,JSON, CSS, Ajax, jQuery. Knowledge about frameworks like boostrap are value for the role.
- Knowledge in Tag Containers like GTM
- Experienced in continuous delivery and automation testing.
