Founding Full Stack developer

More develops a platform which offers traditional and alternative asset classes. Guys work with a great number of asset suppliers in each asset class such VC, crypto, PE, hedge funds, real estate, art and others.

The platform will enable each client to set up and oversee how their diversified portfolios perform.

No fund provides access to such a number of assets, custom liquidity parameters like this or the number of liquidity levels.

The main product’s USPs

• True diversification and risk hedging.

• Low minimal investment (starting from 100$ for standard users and 100,000 USD for private clients).
• Simple and personalised access to top-tier, exclusive, actively managed investments.

• Customization of each portfolio by Risk (market neutral, balanced and opportunistic) and Liquidity (weekly, quarterly, dynamic), based on their preferences, which will impact portfolio composition.

In future More is going to use collected data from the partners in each asset class as well as from users’ spending/investing patterns, build powerful AI/quantitative tool that will power internal fund, in-house strategies for clients, contribute to the creation of a second layer liquid market within all assets classes that provided to users.

Also More doesn’t have any external investors and their influence on business development.

About the team

It is a remote-first team: 

• 2 co-founders — Arseniy Z. as Head of Product and Kenzo I. as Head of alternative assets, both with experience in capital management and investments;
• Solution architect Curtis (ex Equi.com) founding engineer 
• Albina head of Design 
• Alarming M. Head of R&D

About the role

You will join the team from the very start.

Tech stack

• Node.js, TypeScript, React.js, AWS
• Python/Django (in future for DS tasks)

Other technologies and tools can be chosen by a lead engineer.

All communication and all meetings with the team will be in English. You need to be able to communicate freely on work project issues and actively participate in discussions, i.e. level B2 and above.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Build and write exceptional code 
2. Build extensive testing related to money movement and tracking
3. Provably accurate ingesting 3rd party reports on performance into More’s ledger so that customers can see their individual performances
   
4. Code product workflows using design or design patterns
5. Test interactions, visuals, and functions to ensure software quality
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements.
7. Participate in code reviews, contribute to team best practices, and drive continuous improvement in software quality.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the platform's performance, reliability, and security.
9. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, proactively identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
   
10. Develop and maintain coding standards, best practices, and documentation to ensure consistent, high-quality code.
11. Oversee the testing, deployment, and maintenance of our platform, ensuring timely delivery and continuous improvement.
12. Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
13. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the fintech space, and continuously identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Requirements:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in software architecture and design, preferably within the fintech, wealth management, or investment industry
2. Experience with payments, building 3rd party integrations, security
3. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
4. 5+ years of experience in full stack development, with a strong background in both front-end and back-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React, Node.js, Python, Django, etc.).
5. Proven experience as a team leader or technical lead, with demonstrated success in managing and mentoring software development teams.
6. Familiarity with agile methodologies, CI/CD processes, and software development best practices.
7. Strong knowledge of web services, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).
8. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
9. Collaboration and Communication: You will be working with a team of developers, data scientists, and business professionals. Strong communication skills are essential for conveying complex data-driven concepts to team members with various levels of technical understanding.

13. Big Data Architecture: Leverage your knowledge of distributed computing principles to build fault-tolerant and scalable big data solutions. Your work will involve technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and other distributed processing frameworks.
14. Machine Learning Support: Collaborate with our data science team to design and build infrastructure for data ingestion, data transformation, and machine learning model deployment. You'll work with tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar machine-learning frameworks.
