The Credit Tech eTrading Application Development team is a business-aligned team of technologists responsible for the electronic trading platform used by the Spread and Public Finance Trading businesses globally. The team designs and builds software for price contribution and trade execution, working closely with the trading desk and with core technology teams. Products traded include corporate bonds, credit derivatives and mortgage-backed securities. We are looking for an application developer to increase trading automation and to extend our client offering.

You should have an aptitude for solving problems with technology and an ability to quickly translate business requirements into a sound technical design and implementation. Key Skills Required:

Proficiency in multiple programming languages, notably Java, with a proven track record of designing and delivering high-quality, performant software.

Excellent grasp of object oriented design and programming. Wide-ranging technical experience, including event-driven and concurrent programming.

Awareness of industry-wide trends and best practices, and how to apply them.

Creative, quick-thinking, pragmatic, with a strong focus on delivery.

Proven organizational skills; decisive priority management; excellent verbal & written communication. Able to build trust with traders and business stakeholders by understanding their needs and being responsive.

Ability to work in collaborative teams to achieve shared goals; passionate about building an innovative culture.
